Born in Sydney in 1970, Craig Loxley has a rare ability to combine the fantasy world with tradition landscape compositions. His ability to paint in miniature form really compliments his preferred style of composition; grouped together the works can display a narrative of an epic saga or simply a lazy afternoon.
In 1998 Craig studied at the National Art School, majoring in painting. In 2000 the Australian art community acknowledged his talent when he was awarded the Jeffery Smart Life Drawing Prize. Craig continues to paint and experiment with organic materials, man made objects, and compositions that distil a sense of tranquillity and adventure.
