Fritz Boehle

Friedrich Karl Boehm (Fritz Boehle) (b 1873- d 1916)

Active in Frankfurt as a painter, draftsman and sculptor. He attended the Stadel Art Institute and was influenced by the work of Albrecht Durer. His compositions focused on People and animals. Two of his major pieces still stand in public arenas; an equestrian statute situated in Wenceslas Square, Prague, and a piece called the “Made to border bull” situated in Gunthersburgpark, Frankfurt.
