John Caldwell-  (1942-     Biography

John Caldwell is one of Australia’s master landscape artists, with more than forty solo exhibitions, twice selected for the AGNSW Wynne prize, & receiving numerous awards including the Art Gallery of NSW’s Trustees Watercolour Prize in 1984 & 1987.
Australian collections include the AGNSW, Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery, Artbank and Holmes à Court collection. John has been a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute since 1977 and Vice-President between 1981 and 1984.
