Rodney Sharpe
Rodney is an Australian visual artist who worked in the advertising industry from 1984-87. He has travelled Australia making a living as a portrait artist, whilst producing environmental protest posters from woodcuts. These are represented in the National Gallery of Australia.
Rodney’s work explores the changing values of society brought about by rapid┬átechnological advancement. He has also used his creativity to champion environmental awareness, protesting against coal seam gas development and deforestation.
