Rodney Sharpe
Rodney is an Australian visual artist who worked in the advertising industry from 1984-87. He has travelled Australia making a living as a portrait artist, whilst producing environmental protest posters from woodcuts. These are represented in the National Gallery of Australia.
Rodney’s work explores the changing values of society brought about by rapid technological advancement. He has also used his creativity to champion environmental awareness, protesting against coal seam gas development and deforestation.
